Tonight's high tide and the stormy, windy weather brought the water back up to the dunes. It wasn't raining anymore though, and that made it possible to get a better look at it.

This really doesn't do the waves justice. The ones farthest out are really large!

I took a walk down the beach collecting some shells that had been washed up and while I was out the wind picked up and brought the water right up to the dunes again. I figured I should head home. :-)

Amazing that there is any sand dry enough to blow around, but there was.

Its amazing to me how each time there is a storm, the beach is completely reshaped. Where once there was a ridge of sand, it is completely flat, and other areas that were flat now slope upwards toward the homes.

This is a really nice site, that I stumbled onto looking for details on a NYC dive bar, called you guessed it "Welcome to the Johnsons".
Furthest from the content of your website, the bar version of "Welcome to the Johnsons" is a dark, dirty bar decorated like a 70's rec room.
I thought you find it interesting
