Secondary title for this post is "Rain, Rain, Go Away".
Colorado is particularly dry this summer, we're very behind on rainfall(not that we get a ton anyway). That said, middle of last week we had a downpour very unlike Colorado, in fact very much like the midwest when the water seems to come in sheets instead of drops. The hole in the backyard was so soft that no more work could be done last week, thus no pouring of the foundation.
It hasn't rained since, but it's been humid most everyday(again, very unusual for CO), but it finally dried out in anticipation for work to continue in the morning. Well, its midnight here and its been raining quite hard for the last 15 minutes or so. I'm guessing our drying out time just started over, boo.

Oh bummer! Praying for dryness to kick in! (send your rain OUR way--I'd love a big gully-washer!)
