As we were getting ready to walk out the door on Saturday, a very special delivery came for the us, but we didn't have time to open it at any time that day. It was torture! So this afternoon while the babies were in rest time, we had the chance to bust it open. For those of you who don't know, we made a decision to homeschool the 2 older boys this coming year and this box contains our curriculum(minus math). It is a literature based curric. and so you know what that means, LOTS of books!!
So we've learned the meaning of Sonlight "box day" now and the boys were ecstatic to learn that we will get to have a box day every year that we homeschool. Take it easy boys, one year at a time, thank you very much.

And the one of Isaac reading the pamphlet - looks like he's ready to take it on right now. So what's it gonna be? A castle or a rocket ship?? If I had my guess....
It was a castle! I haven't let them at it yet because I am still using the box. I will be sure to post pics when they construct though.
Yay!! I love your Box Day pix! Deb is right; you should submit several of those to the catalog (I submitted *23* this past year, and TWO were put in the catalog).
How exciting for you guys!!
My kids were bummed that, since we were blessed with most of Core 4 from another family, our box was smaller and hence, no rocket OR castle! :(
