For the first time since becoming parents, we took a night to ourselves(thanks to the grandparents!). We stayed in Chicago and attended Wicked Tuesday night, which was *great*.

On Wednesday we had lunch with some friends from our Naperville days. We had such a good time with Bill and Rachel and the kids, I hope it isn't so long before we get to see them again.
On our way home we stopped by Sinissippi Park, about a block from our first apartment, and enjoyed a walk along the river.

Good for you and Jer!! Lloyd and I are hoping to have a similar experience when we are visiting the grandparents in Aug. Maybe a Chicago overnight and Wicked will be in our plans too!!
