First Climbing Expedition of 2007!

Isaac was thrilled to get to go climbing with Jason again, and still seems to have the knack for it.

Spencer took a turn for the first time! He was a little scared, but he did it and we are SO proud of him for giving it a try!

This is him "bunny hopping" down the rock face, he was very cute about it. He went two times, and he was very content with that.

Samuel pouting because I wouldn't let him play in the giant puddle. He really wants his chance to climb with Jason too! Maybe next year?

Sunday at Home

After church we finally got the garden planted, we're pretty late getting it in, we're thinking if we get a few edible things from is this year, we'll be doing well. :-)

The older boys were really helpful.

We ended the weekend with a campfire again, hot dogs and marshmallows for dinner.

S'mores were enjoyed by all.

Samuel put on a little tantrum performance for us.

I have a good excuse...

for my lack of posts. We've been attacked by strep throat. All of us. We're finally on the rebound, so I'll return to regularly scheduled programming asap.

Rocket Launch

The boys and I met up with Jeremiah at his model rocketry club's launch day. I knew it was up north, but I didn't know how north. We were just a few miles from Wyoming!

The scenery was gorgeous. This launch site is on Pawnee National Grasslands.

Jeremiah was up for the day and we were only up for a few hours, so Jer had to make the trip in his metro, eek! (Thats a long trip for the metro!)

There are lots of launches, but I suppose for a baby they all kind of blend together. The babies did really well contenting themselves and eating lots of snacks while we watched the rockets.

Jeremiah was busy picking the brains of the more experienced.

Though he swore he was going to sit in the truck the whole time, Spencer did venture out, but never without his "ear puffs".

Lots of neat flowers/weeds up there too.

Thursday - Random

The crab got pretty big!

Isaac got higher in this tree than he has before. I wouldn't let him go any higher, but I'm sure his Dad will encourage him to do so when he gets home. :-)

Great Ending to the Weekend

We tried out our new fire pit and roasted marshmallows. The boys thought it was great.

Especially the eating marshmallows part, no matter if they weren't roasted first.

Pretty moon tonight too.
