Friends at the Mall

On Friday we picked up Spencer and Samuel from school and went out to the mall to have lunch and visit with some friends of ours from the UK who were in Colorado this week skiing(Jeremiah went skiing with them last Wed). Even though we've known Michael and his family for several years now, last week was the first time we've ever laid eyes on them.

Valentine's Day Macros

Ok, so this isn't the traditional way to show off the beautiful bouquet of flowers that Jeremiah gave me for Valentine's Day, but it does the trick.

Tired of being sick.

We had done pretty well this winter until the last few weeks, and now we just can't seem to get healthy, at least not all at the same time. All of sudden this afternoon, I started feeling lousy, a special kind of lousy, a strep throat kind of lousy. Doc confirmed it tonight. I am praying it doesn't start cycling through the boys.

Stupid germs.

Happy Valentine's Day!

I don't figure it will be too much longer that the boys will let me make their Valentine's Day cards for them, so I especially enjoyed working with Isaac tonight to prepare his treat bags with caramel corn.

A New Role for Mommy

Last Saturday I embarked on a new adventure when I nervously drove down to a country club in the south suburbs for my first day as an assistant photographer to Jared Wilson, an incredibly talented photographer that I am both humbled and elated to be working with. Yesterday, I shot a beautiful wedding in Vail with him. I'll be working with Jared occasionally throughout the year at some of his weddings. It's very exciting for me to have the opportunity to expand my hobby into this new arena.
