We didn't join the hordes of people *in* the mall, but its such a nice day, that we did spend some time outside the mall after we ate nearby.

Birthday Thoughts from Mommy

Asher's birthday isn't until tomorrow, but it feels like we've come full circle today. Last year, Dec 3rd was a Saturday and like today, we were anticipating Parent's Night Out. I was starting to get pretty stressed out over still being pregnant, and was determined to make the best of what would surely be our last date night before Baby Asher arrived. In the four block drive to the daycare center, I began to time my ever-present contractions, and realized they were quite regular and getting more painful. We made the decision to bring the boys to our "birth" babysitter instead of Parents Night Out, and Asher was born about 5 hours later. What a gift he is to our family.

We love you sweet little man!
