During our walk, we happened upon this old piece of farm machinary. It looked like a harvester of some kind, we weren't sure for what. It was a neat old machine though.

Jer and I ditched the boys with family during naptime and went for a long, quiet walk out at the state park. It was divine. Did I mention how quiet it was?!

We're in Illinois

We headed to IL this past weekend to hear Seth give his senior share at football chapel Friday evening. He did a _great_ job, and he made his big sister cry.

Afterwards, we ate at the Weber Grill Restaurant. You can see why it's really obvious which one was the right restaurant.

Super Duper Tired

Isaac was a sleepy head tonight. He crashed at bedtime, then he woke up around 11p and walked toward the bathroom, not acknowledging Jeremiah and I sitting on the couch watching a movie.

I went to check on him and see that the door to the main bathroom(right outside his bedroom door) is closed and the room is dark. Then I hear the strange sound. I followed the sound to the small bathroom off of our bedroom and walk in.

To my amazement, Isaac was standing right inside the door going potty into the trash can! I kid you not, the trash can!

He was clearly not awake, and I didn't want to startle him, so I came out and shared my amusement with Jeremiah. When he finished, I carried him back to bed(and then cleaned the trash can!). I'm quite sure he won't remember a bit of it.

You can bet I will be giving him a hard time about this in the morning!
