Another Week in Review

We went to LeMar's donuts one morning for breakfast.

Spent a gorgeous evening at the park the night that Grandpa Aaron and Grandma Judy arrived.

From this this morning, Isaac waiting for G+G to come pick him up for his first all-by-himself adventure in IL for 12 days!!! He was so excited and mommy, well, mommy is counting down the days until we head to IL ourselves.

Train Derailment

Two weeks ago there was a train derailment one town over from us caused by someone putting a tree trunk on the tracks, you can read the news story here and see how much more wreckage there was initially.

There was still some of the crash left on the sides of the track, so yesterday I went over to take a look and some pictures. I am posting a lot of pictures, so I made them small, click on them to make them bigger if you'd like.

Sets of wheels all over the place, looked like model train parts tossed to the side.

The whole wheel assembly of this box car is gone.

If you enlarge this picture, you can see spilled grain. It was all over.

I stole Aunt Whitney away from the boys this week long enough to try a new spot for taking photos and revisit an old one. We had a ton of fun!
