Feet!

Finally Some Christmas Pics and Lots of Them!

At our first cmas gathering, the boys received this cool bicycle powered video game.
I took some pictures at my Grandma's house of her decorations, lots of good memories there.

The kids table.

Santa made a surprise visit, it was quite the hit!

Samuel offered him some nuts.

Uncle Brad got to sit on Santa's lap too!

Even Uncle Seth joined in the fun.
Christmas night, Isaac crashed on Uncle Seth's new Transformers sheets.

The day after Christmas, we headed to Springfield where we met Maca(Jeremiah's mom), Aunt Christi, Uncle Justin, and the girls.

Look close and you'll see Madeline's arm around Isaac.

We went to a nearby mall and rode a 2-story carousel.

The whole crew with their reindeer antlers from Maca.

Christmas Program #2 - Spencer and Samuel

We were up in the air about having Samuel participate in the program tonight, but decided to let him. We might rethink that if we had it to do over. While on stage the first time, he was standing on an end of the front row, right next to the piano. He held his hands over his ears the whole song. Song #2, he spun in circles almost the entire song, ended up falling down, thankfully not taking any other kids with him(yes, they were on risers).

If kid #1 had done this, I would have felt so badly about it, I would have been nearly in tears. With Samuel, we were nearly in tears too, tears of laughter. :-O

Spencer did a great job. Understanding more about what was to take place, he was nervous about his program all afternoon.

I wanted to get a shot of the boys all looking decent, but I didn't realize my flash batteries were about dead, so this pic was severely underexposed. :-(

Isaac, Brother or Father?

When I picked up Isaac from school today, his teacher told me that the class had watched the little kids(Spencer's and Samuel's classes) practice for their Christmas program. While they were watching, Isaac decided Samuel wasn't standing nicely and asked his teacher for permission to go give Samuel a talking to........she said no.

Playing in the Snow

Thankfully we haven't gotten any of the ice storms that other areas of the country have, but we do have quite a bit of snow right now. The boys helped me shovel after school today.

Samuel looking a little annoyed at my interruption.

Samuel and Spencer working on the sidewalk. It might be hard to tell here, but Samuel is actually throwing snow back onto the sidewalk from the yard. He's more interested in digging in the snow than clearing the sidewalk.

I should add that by the time I had everyone sufficiently bundled and could go grab my camera, Asher had decided he was done and went inside. :D

Christmas Program #1 - Isaac

Isaac was head angel in the Christmas program this afternoon.

The kindergarten class played the characters of the Christmas story while the 1st-8th graders narrated, so none of his class had speaking parts, probably for the best. :D

The angel(aka Isaac) telling the shepherds about the birth of Jesus.

Happy Birthday Asher!

We had a low key day for Asher's 2nd birthday. Ended it with a (waaay too) chocolate-y cake.

The babies admired our little tree for awhile before they started trying to eat the strings of kix cereal and popcorn that the boys and I worked so hard on. :D

Words of Wisdom from Isaac

Today Isaac told us, "In the old testament times, if people had an itch on their back, I think they would back up to a wall to scratch it."
